Daniel has over 15 years of experience treating general mental health conditions, and also has substantial training and experience in the treatment of traumatic stress, early-life attachment disruption, and developmental trauma. He works from a somatic psychotherapy framework, incorporating theory and techniques from a range of mindfulness-based cognitive, behavioural, psychodynamic, self-state, and neurobiologically informed psychological therapies.

In addition to private practice, Daniel has also worked in an adult mental health service, a university counselling service, and mental health community support services. He has had the privilege to support and learn from a diversity of clients across his career, including veterans, police, and defence force personnel.

Daniel holds a professional doctorate in Clinical Psychology, is a certified practitioner of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and is studying toward an additional certification in somatic movement education. His professional development has also been supported by personal practices of yoga, meditation, somatic movement, ecosomatics, qigong, and dance.
